The KDRJ-2 is a batch kneader that mixes powders and liquids to produce homogeneous mixtures suitable for low pressure extrusion. The kneader consists of two counterrotating blades. Due to the mechanical action of these blades on the wetted material, the liquid will film-coat the dry powder particles. This increases the plasticity of the paste and makes extrusion easier. The blades with Z-shape, spiral-shape and fish-tail shape are available but, among them, Z-shape blades are considered the standard and most suitable for kneading the materials homogeneously. The KDRJ-2 is suitable for the up-stream of the granulation process.
